Who We Are
Miranda Banks is a performance psychologist. Having trained in Australia as a clinical psychologist, she took PhD studies in neuropsychology, then practised extensively as a sports performance psychologist with Australian Olympic athletes, Australian Rugby, Queensland Rugby, Queensland Netball, Surf Lifesaving and numerous other sports, before expanding into corporate performance coaching. She also lectured in Sports Psychology at Queensland University of Technology and was a regular expert commentator for Brisbane’s talkback radio 4BC. Just prior to her return to her native UK in 2008, her first book was published by Wiley: ‘Fitter, Faster, Stronger, Smarter: Training for the performance of life’.
In the UK, Miranda continued to work as a performance psychologist in sport, including Bath Rugby and professional polo. She expanded her corporate leadership coaching practice as well as individual life coaching work, developing change programmes to include residential periods for clients in South-West France. Miranda works with adults as well as teenagers. For information on Miranda’s exam preparation programmes for GCSE and A Level, please visit www.excelinexams.com.

Andrew Krisson is an Executive Coach who spent 27 years in the luxury goods industry holding a variety of board level positions with global brands such as Zoffany, Mulberry Home and George Smith. As a leader with a facilitative approach, he prided himself on developing high-performing teams and individuals, founded on the absolute belief that everyone has the resources within, to achieve whatever they want and the capacity to overcome the challenges they face. This combined with a fascination with the range of strategies, resources and energies which drive human success, naturally led him on a path to becoming a coach.
A qualified NLP practitioner, trained hypnotherapist and graduate of the highly acclaimed, Meyler Campbell ‘Mastered Programme,’ accredited to the Institute of Coaching (IOC) and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, Andrew’s coaching experience runs across a breadth of sectors, including; construction, manufacturing, medical research, legal, architecture and design, IT and hospitality. Clients include: Imperial College, Halter Hunziker, Ground Control, Pinsent Masons, Bailey & Jones and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Working with clients in areas such as leadership, career progression, management job skills, business development, business start-ups, aligning organisation and individual values, and business strategy and planning, Andrew’s approach combines a blend of mentoring, based on his years of business and leadership experience, with a non-directive coaching framework, to create a high-quality thinking space for clients.
Andrew’s passion for endurance sport, as an accomplished duathlete and committed cyclist, also underpins a strong advocacy for the link between exercise and sporting achievements, with the cognitive benefits which enable sustained high performance at work.
Working together… Miranda and Andrew have found that the combination of competencies that each bring has been particularly helpful for clients whose goals cover a breadth of career and life areas. With larger corporate programmes, two coaches provide capability, but also the opportunity for different points of focus. To this effect, a client may work individually with either Miranda or Andrew, or, as is the case for several clients, a client may work towards certain goals with Miranda and certain goals with Andrew, depending on their requirements.
